Lake and spring

It’s been breaking by the wind and time
but sill the lake is well iced.
If someone willing to step on it
knowing he might fall into fresh-cutting coldness,
even though he knows, if he is willing to
the lake hopes to be broken, and again
until it totally is out of all ices
so that he can fall into less cold water
without ice he dared to jump.
It changes as it seems
the willingness and the acceptance.
But as always
it takes more time melting ices
than saving a man’s willingness.

At least the upcoming spring
the lake would have his body floating
in its warmer and wider arms.
